Performing Rights
As a member you are entitled to audition and perform with the society in their productions and other activities.

Voting Rights
As a member you are entitled to vote for issues affecting the Committee members.

Special Functions
As a member you are able to attend special functions organised by the group.

Discount Tickets
A member is able to attend productions they are not performing in, at the concession rate.

An application for Membership can be made by submitting a completed form to the Committee.

Membership Fee
There is currently an annual membership fee of $10(Single) and 20(Family). The membership fee is set by the Committee and may change as the Committee sees fit. People with 10 years continuous membership of the Society may apply for Life Membership. Details of how to apply are available from the Secretary.

Workshops
The Society runs a workshops on theatrical craft during the year.

Performing and Auditions
Members of the group wishing to perform in productions are required to audition before they can participate. As well as this general audition, Director may decide to audition individual or chorus members. All performers must be members of the group.

Other Activities
There are many different activities required to make a group such as ours work. All people working on production, front of house, costumes, set, design, administration, publicity, tickets, management etcetera are volunteers. Anyone wishing to help in any area will be welcomed with open arms.

Legal
The Melbourne Bangla Theatre Inc is a non-profit association incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Act, 1981 in the State of Victoria. A complete copy of the group's Rules is available to members upon application.
